What are your office hours?
AppleTree Dental is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The office is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Yes. AppleTree Dental welcomes new patients of all ages, including children, teens, and adults.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card if you have one, a list of current medications, and any recent dental records or X-rays.
Who is the dentist at AppleTree Dental?
Mike Kang, DDS, is a general and cosmetic dentist who earned his dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry and has practiced since 1998. He is a certified implant surgery and orthodontics provider.

What if I don’t have dental insurance?
The AppleTree Dental Membership Plan offers child, adult, and periodontal plans that include cleanings, exams, necessary X-rays, and discounts on additional services.
Do you accept CareCredit?
Yes. CareCredit is accepted, and membership plan patients receive 10% off additional services when paying with CareCredit.
Do you offer emergency dental care?
Yes. AppleTree Dental offers same-day emergency dentistry for toothaches, broken or knocked-out teeth, damaged restorations, and other urgent problems. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours.
How often should I visit the dentist?
Most patients should visit every six months for a professional cleaning and exam to prevent problems and catch issues early.
Do you offer braces and clear aligners?
Yes. Dr. Kang offers traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, and ClearCorrect clear aligners for teens and adults, along with custom retainers.
Do you offer dental implants?
Yes. AppleTree Dental offers minimally invasive dental implants placed with 3D imaging and custom surgical guides, using brands such as Dio Implant, Hiossen, and Bicon.
What cosmetic dentistry services do you offer?
AppleTree Dental offers custom porcelain veneers and in-office Philips Zoom! teeth whitening.
How white can Zoom! teeth whitening make my teeth?
Zoom! whitening can make teeth up to 8 shades lighter in about an hour, though individual results vary.
Do you make custom night guards?
Yes. AppleTree Dental provides custom night guards for children, teens, and adults to protect teeth from grinding and clenching.
What technology does your office use?
The office uses 3D cone-beam CT imaging, 3D surgical guides, panoramic digital imaging with Vatech, the Medit i500 intraoral scanner, and SOTA Imaging products.
Do you treat children?
Yes. AppleTree Dental provides care for patients of all ages, and the Child Membership Plan includes cleanings, exams, fluoride treatments, and X-rays.
